Verification

Verification

This page says plainly what TikAccs verifies — and what it does not. It corrects a common misunderstanding: identity documents are not required to list or sell on TikAccs.

1. What is verified before a listing can be published

Three things must be true before a listing goes live:

  • Email verified. The seller's email address must be verified before they can submit a listing.
  • TikTok ownership verified by bio code. The seller places a code in the TikTok bio, and TikAccs checks it live (the code is valid for 30 minutes). This proves the seller controls the account at that moment. It proves control — not that the seller has given the account up.
  • Proof screenshot provided. A proof screenshot is required for every listing.

The listing must also meet the minimum of 1,000 TikTok followers. Once submitted, every listing is reviewed by an admin before it is published.

2. What "Verified Listing" means — and what it does not

Statistics on a listing are seller-provided until a review has actually been completed. They are labelled by source and are not claimed as platform-verified unless that review has happened. Do not read a "verified" label as a guarantee about the account's future on TikTok — TikTok's own policies can change, and TikAccs is independent of TikTok and ByteDance.

We do not repeat here any broader definition of a "verified listing" that has not been confirmed against the live system. The verified parts are the ones above: email verification, bio-code ownership, a proof screenshot, and admin review before publish.

3. Identity documents — a separate, optional flow

Identity-document verification is a separate, optional flow. A seller may submit up to 5 documents (PDF, JPG, PNG, or WebP, each up to 5 MB) for admin review. It is not a gate to list or sell: a seller who has never submitted identity documents can still list and sell, provided the checks in section 1 pass. We do not claim that sellers are identity-verified. Any page that says a seller must "complete seller verification before selling" is out of date — the requirements are the ones in section 1.

4. What buyers should still check themselves

Verification does not replace your own checks. Before paying, read the listing fully, check the proof screenshots against the public TikTok profile, and confirm with the seller in TikAccs chat — any problem with the account, any restriction, strike, or ban, monetization status, and what is included. See the Buyer Policy.
